Ian turned 6 months at the end of October, yay! We didn't have his 6-month check up until November, though (they make you wait so many weeks in between vaccinations). Aside from that, he celebrated his 1st Thanksgiving, learning to sit up, sitting in the high chair for the first time, and began eating rice cereal! What a big boy!- No, literally...my 6 month old is in 12-18 month clothes! He isn't so much a chunker, but just needs the bigger sizes for the length because he is a beanpole!
Here is how he measured in at his 6 month appt:
Weight: 16 lbs, 10 oz (24%)
Height: 28" (88%)- told you he is a beanpole! ;)
Head: 17.5" (31%)
...and in comparison to big sis's stats at 6 months:
Weight: 14 lbs, 4 oz (25%)
Height: 26" (75%)
Head: 17" (75%)

Ian still take TERRIBLE naps, lasting maybe 30 minutes. The only way he will nap for longer than that (up to an hour at least!) is by (still) napping with Mama. And let's just say then, and only then, this kid loves to sleep! At least he sleeps in his crib at night though, still working towards THROUGH the night as well!
