October 2013: Settling In (...or at least trying to!)
The kids came home from Granny's to sleep in the new house for the 1st time! Here are some pics from the first few days in our new space:)
A was relieved her chair made it to the new house!...wearing Mommy's boots...
Ian had to try on Mommy's boots for size, too!
The kids are now sharing a bedroom...which, aside from a new home, is even more difficult to adjust to- they think it's party time ALL the time!! They will eventually transition to sleeping in their bedroom downstairs after we carpet the downstairs space. For now, sleeping across the hall from us, they can just get comfortable in the new house without being separated by an entire level!
1st night sleeping in the new house///
...success!!
Woke up with activities awaiting them! Our new house can be fun, too! ;)
Cheese for our new house!!
We didn't skip a beat with our weekly BSF outings...and the kids are loving the songs we sing both there & at home:
Off to BSF!
"Good Morning God"
More "Good Morning God"
I singing to "My God is So Big..."
Where do we live?...
Finally reunited (in the same neighborhood) again with The Kings! Naturally they were our 1st "non family" visitors! :)
Luc's "office"...for now!
Naturally there are things, well, EVERYWHERE, so if it's in plain view the kids think it is fair game...on today's menu: Daddy's ties!
Visiting "OUR" new park...was so fun just walking a short distance!
While we waited for our new washer & dryer to be delivered, our wonderful neighbors let us bring our laundry over to be washed. Meanwhile Adelyn & Caroline had a princess dance party (ps best way to do laundry, ever...with friends!)
More getting settled in...
Ian sleeping in his crib...although not for much longer since baby # 3 will need it in just a short 2 months!
Prepping dinner with Mommy
Decorating for Halloween...and trying to make it feel like home!
