For Christmas, Adelyn received a "big girl" toddler bed from Granny. We waited a few months after that to transition her from her crib to the bed. If it weren't for having another babe we would have waited much longer and kept her confined in her crib! But we knew that she would need some time to adjust in her new sleeping quarters, so we switched her from the crib to the big girl bed a good month and a half before baby #2's arrival! For many many months she NEVER got out of her bed, let alone her room. Luc and I thought she was either too scared to explore (that ended as the months passed and she got more curious!), or that she just didn't even know it was possible to get out on her own- after all, she had been brought out of bed by Mama or Daddy for almost the past 2 years!

Since rearranging her sleeping space, I've found Adelyn in some pretty funny positions...and places!

| Now that she's "uncaged" from her crib, we can bring her mattress anywhere- like to Granny's for naptime when the noisy workers (as Adelyn called them, or "migos") re-roofed our house! |
