8 Feb: "Potty Party"

Today we went to Miss LaDonna's house to have a "potty party" now that Addison (and many other of A's friends" are officially using the potty. They had lots of fun treats to include potty cupcakes, popsicles, and "potty rockstar" goodie bags that were stuffed with trinkets and even a pair of big girl underwear! There were lots of rolls of TP all over (which was pretty funny because they were actually left out for the kids to play with, but nobody played with them probably because they've been scolded for doing so at home in the past!) and also a potty chair in a corner. One of A's friends used it (how honest- it's sitting there, why not?!) and Adelyn decided she should use it too. After all, it was a potty party, hehe! That definitely made the "potty" complete!

Since there had been no party planned for the kids for Valentine's Day, I decided to have A give her friend's their valentines at the potty party since it was only a week before v-day, plus she was seeing them all for the potty party and, with both her and my school schedule, we are never sure when we'll be able to see all her friends next! Adelyn helped me make the first monkey and owl, then I did the rest (it was bedtime for her!) I also made some yummy chocolate-covered pretzels, yummy!
