Summer is finally here and days are flying by. We are adjusting as best we can to our new family-of-four life! Ian is still very VERY colicky and fussy most of the time. Although, by looking at pictures you would never guess- he always smiles for pictures! He eats all the time and never naps (when does it get better?!) The only guarantee for getting Ian t o nap for more than 20 minutes is if he sleeps with me in our bed. And let's face it, we both need naps lately! He is such a little snuggle bug!:) At least he sleeps in his own bed, while not through the night, at nighttime. We have been having play dates and I try to venture out as much I can. Here is a peek at our June.
Since I am so incredibly behind in these "update" blogs, while I have kept post-its with special dates-to-remember, I am
also going to tap into the ever-resourceful Facebook statuses, as I tend to post about the kids and big moments (yes, I am a social-media bragging mom ;) ) That said, here are some "FB highlights:"
5 June: "Dropped off Adelyn at school today, and for the first time she walked through the door when I brought her in and just kept walking, she didn't even look back! :( "
9 June: "Luc's on his way to Canada..Mama struck gold with both kids sleeping in until 1030! Now off to the water park!"
followed by...
"Well that was short-lived...arrived at the water park with 2 screaming kids, and left the same way...without having gotten in the water. They can't say I wasn't ambitious!"
19 June: "Power out, candles lit...of course it had to be trash day tomorrow so now our can is down the street, contents spewed about..both kids still asleep? Check! In fact Adelyn is literally snoring, whew!"
25 June: "UNbelievable. Doesn't sleep a wink for me all day, then the second Luc gets home, BAM. Sound asleep."
