I am still chugging along in getting caught up with our blog. I am finally feeling there is an end in sight! Here is a flashback of our August 2012! :)
This month began the start of Luc working "late" hours (1130am-730pm). He did so in order to stay home in the mornings with Ian while I am at school so we didn't have to send (and pay for!) both kids to daycare. It is nice for him & Ian to get some bonding time, and also for me to be able to take the classes I need knowing both kids are in the best possible care. But let's be honest, by the time Luc got home around 830-9ish not only were the kids fed, bathed, and in bed (which was EXHAUSTING to do have to do alone...definitely reminded me how grateful for him I am!), but it was then time for me to either do homework or go to bed. I like to see my husband for more than 2 hours per day! :( It made for a long semester, especially once the weather turned cold and snowy and bound us to the indoors. But we made it- whew! :)

Kissies in Mama's lipstick
We don't get many pics together (let alone a night out!)

the Jeff Dunham show at Mystic!
Eskimo kisses
Wearing, as she called them, "Mommy's 'fancy' shoes."
Little does she know I found them at an antique store!
Ian loves watching the mobile go 'round and 'round.
Can you tell this was a forced photo opp?!
Outdoor dinner picnic!
Look who came to visit!
Granny got her motorcycle license AND a new Harley...and we were her 1st visit!
Never mind Mom is taking a pic, we're watching Baby Einstein!
Enjoying playing outside
Double-date (literally!) at the mall with Rachael, Adry, and Rylan

Aug 29, 2012: "Big strides in the Mac-Tran household this week: Adelyn can now pedal her tricycle all by herself, and Ian is trying to roll over!"
Trying to roll over!
A riding her trike...with Joshy's mittens on (in August, hehe!)
The 2 greatest blessings of my entire life. LOVE THEM!
Tummy time!
Passing the evening at the splash pad!
Love that profile!
Having a picnic on a gorgeous August day!
Someone woke up and decided to join us!
Preseason is here...baby's first game!
General Mills had a summer company party, so we got a chance to see Daddy's work & play. They had TONS of activities for the kiddos, to include a gymnastics circuit, jump house/slide, & horseback riding. Thanks to this event we discovered Adelyn's interest (& talent) in gymnastics. Plus it was a great way to get out all that pent up energy! ;)
"Ta da!"
She wasn't too thrilled about being up so high, but boy did she talk about riding the horsey with Mommy the entire ride home!
Mama & Adelyn horseback riding!
Daddy & Ian hanging out while big sister tried all the stations
Thanks for the lunch, Mom!
Syd's 2nd b-day party
Hugs for Addison...
...and hugs for Adry. She loves her friends!
Exhausted after the party!
What a tough life! ;)
Ian LOVES when Adelyn reads to him (or pays attention to him period!)
He especially loves this Thomas book because it makes noise!
"Check it out, fellas- second base!" Hehe.
Daddy being Alan from "The Hangover"
Sleeping (very oddly) with her 1st pair of "big girl" underpants...
over her diaper, hehe.
Happy happy!
Adelyn "checking" on Ian..
which is just an excuse to sit in his crib!
Play date with Addison at A's new desk.
Big cousin Josh lending a hand
It doesn't seem that long ago when Josh was this size!
A "feeding" her bear. LOL!
He was still hungry so bear needed a bottle, too!
It took about 4 months, but we FINALLY have our 1st "family of 4" pic! :)
