Even though I generally post about the kids, it is such a rare occasion that Luc & I get a photo together, let alone a weekend together! So I figured posting about it was worthwhile!!
One of my dearest friends got married at the end of the month, and I was fortunate enough to be a part of her big day! Holly and I met our freshman year in college, and were roommates our 2nd year. After that year I had Adelyn and lived off campus, and Holly transferred back to her home state. We still manage to keep in touch despite our very different lives, and she is even Ian's Godmother! :) When she visited a few months ago, she surprised me by walking up to the door with a boatload of balloons saying "Will you be my bridesmaid?" The finishing touch, of course, was that the weight for the balloons was margarita mix (she knows me too well!)
Aside from being in the wedding, Luc and I also got to have a kid-free weekend, yahoo! So we dropped the kids off at Granny's and hit the road :) Here is a recap of our trip to see our friends tie the knot!
