A is at the age where not only we can talk about holidays and the traditions of them, but she remembers and anticipates them as well! She LOVES partaking in decorating for each season and, thanks to our woodland creature Hocus Pocus, she is even more excited than ever about Easter because of all the "hocus pocus" decos! A few weeks ago I purchased a toddler bible for A, so we have been reading that every day twice a day and she is very aware of what Easter is all about and Jesus' sacrifice for us! I'm such a proud Mama! :)
This year Luc had to work his every-other-weekend job, so we only got to spend the morning with him:( But at least I got the day off from my yoga teacher training- yeehaw! We had a nice relaxing morning at home (it's been so tough attending church since it is during Ian's naptime :/ ), and A looked for (and quickly found) her 1st Easter basket full of goodies (the Easter bunny will have to be less obvious next year in his/her hiding place!) After Ian's morning nap, we all headed over to Granny & Grampy's house to see them as well as Auntie and Josh for more festivities to include: cross necklace making (thanks to Jade for the supplies!), egg hunt, the story of Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection (complete with a mini puzzle), and eating our bunny cake!
