July 30: A Day at the Zoo

For the past few Christmases/b-days, Granny & Grampy have gifted our family a membership to the zoo. We don't make weekly trips or anything like that, but we do use it often enough to get the most out of having a membership! During our summer trips, we tried to see as much as we could outside, as we'll mostly be confined to the indoor attractions during the winter months. Here's a peek at one of our trips to the zoo :)

We usually go to the zoo from 11-130ish, so we pack a lunch to have there!

On today's menu: squeeze fruit/veggies...

Always a favorite for the kids is the bears. Today they got real up close & personal!

 And later that day...

Hello Kitty (who else?!) cupcakes for a gymnastics treat!

Still Ian's favorite book...trucks! He especially
loves all "slide-n-find" books.
