Just as I was almost caught up with this blog, another project came my way and took my priority! I make yearly Shutterfly books for the kids, and had even cashed in enough Huggies Rewards coupons to receive 2 free books, only thing was they were set to expire August 31. So I finished A's 2nd year book, and I's 1st year, went to checkout my purchases and noticed the expiration date was indeed August 31...of 2014! Silly me! But at least they are complete, and now I can get back to catching up with our daily/monthly lives. So here I am!
The weekend after the 4th, my dad knew of a car show and was planning on taking Josh. He figured Luc would be in heaven going as well, so he and Adelyn had a Daddy/daughter day with Grampy and cousin Josh. They woke up early and left around 7 (whew!) stopped at McD's for some breakfast, and were on their way! Here are some shots that Luc took from their day together.

Meanwhile, Ian and I had a Mommy/son day. I couldn't stand knowing that they had hotcakes for breakfast and we (mostly I) didn't. So Ian and I made a drive-thru stop and brought the goods home so we could feast, too. Here's a peek at our morning.
